Step 1 — Add Device to Delyan
Create a new firewall in the Delyan devices inventory.
System → Devices Inventory → Create New . Add your device details and upload the configuration file or connect the firewall online.
Step 2 — Device Selection
Using the web UI
- Open Delyan in a browser:
http://<server-ip> - Select the
Active Devicefrom the menu. - Delyan will automatically parse, analyze and apply compliance benchmarks to the
Active Deviceselected.
Step 3 — Review the results
Output is organized into six sections:
Executive Summary
High-level posture overview with hygiene metrics and the top findings.
Detailed Parsing
Complete rule listings and technical detail for audit and documentation purposes.
Rule Analysis
Shadowed, Redundant, Permissive, Expired and Unused rules. Each finding links to the exact rule with reasoning.
Compliance Frameworks
Pass / Fail per control with evidence traced back to the config file.
Object Hygiene
Unused address objects, dead schedules, orphaned NAT entries.
Dely Advisor (AI explanation)
Dely AI advisor explains the findings in plain English. Every Dely answer carries a Grounded badge linking back to the deterministic evidence.
